The start of WeDu.

Knowing that an average compressor system lasts 15 years, a buying party should therefore buy a compressor system once every 15 years. He or she is then expected to know everything about compressed air or compressors.

During the period of actively consulting and selling compressor systems, the question was frequently asked why not every provider offered the same thing. It is also very difficult for the buying party to make the right choice.

The installation he or she buys must also last another 15 years. As so often, the choice then falls on the “cheapest” compressed air installation. In practice, this “cheap” selection can turn out to be an expensive installation. Because energy costs in many cases account for 75% of the operating costs of a compressor installation, “cheap” can become “expensive”.

As the time that heads of technical services or energy managers have becomes less and less, the demand for an independent consultant increasingly came into focus.

Because of this demand, WeDu was born in 2012. With great enthusiasm, I was allowed to sit next to, rather than opposite, the customer. Projects became increasingly interesting and it turned out that suddenly there were no more “expensive” or “cheap” installations. Ultimately, there were energy-efficient installations that met the needs of the user.
